International Expert Group Meeting - Management, use and disposal of frozen, seized and confiscated assets

The meeting was engaging and informative and above all showed the strong interest and the necessity to develop new knowledge products and tools in the area under discussion.
3 parallel focus groups have been held in the course of the meeting. ISPAC participated in Focus Group 1.
• Focus Group 1: International cooperation in identifying, seizing and confiscating criminal assets, particularly those of Mafia-based criminal organizations
• Focus Group 2: Domestic management, use and disposal of seized and confiscated assets
• Focus Group 3: Management of returned assets in asset recovery cases
